I have broken the handles on two of them a couple of times (I finally just welded a pipe to one for the handle). Good for the price but won't take a ton of abuse.

What can you say about a sledge hammer? Well, this one is cheap. I got it for $5 on 'special.' HF is always putting items on 'special' so I go in there a lot to see what is available every week. This hammer was marked down from $10. I picked the first one up off the rack and the hammer head was loose. That one went back on the rack. The next one, the head was tight, and I bought it. So far I've beat on metal rods, sheet metal and various other sundry items. It works. I does what it's supposed to: bend and break things on an anvil or in a bench vise. I'm sure it would work to break loose a ball joint with a pickle fork too, if need arose. A five dollar three-pound sledge hammer, what's not to like?
