I tried greasing the axle and the ball bearings in the caster and I still could not get them to swivel with the weight of a mid sized car on them. As KAdams4458 said the plates seem well constructed and a higher quality set of casters may make them useable. I returned mine and will save my pennies for a better set.

Like the first reviewer mentioned, they are very sturdy when it comes to holding up the vehicle, but they blow when it comes to rolling. I have an extremely smooth and sealed floor in my shop, and had a heck of a time getting a little Saturn sitting on four of these to move ten feet.
The wheels are cast iron, and on closer inspection, no amount of lubrication will help them. They are, quite literally, either very oval, or are round with the center hole drilled off-center! Every single one of them!
That said, you couldn't buy and form the steel to duplicate just the plate and bars for these for what the entire dollies cost, so it may be a worthwhile investment to upgrade to a cast wheel with a poly covering from some place that sells real industrial wheels.

They support the load, but are very difficult to steer. Perhaps some work on the bearings / wheel grease would improve performance. They do go on sale frequently, they are worth it then.
