I bought one of these little welders to do light maintenance around the house and fabrication. Most of my welding is 1/4" thick or less and I don't have enough breakers to run another 240 volt circuit for a big welder without spending big bucks. Got it home, plugged it in and went to welding. Worked perfect right out of the box. I haven't read a bad review on it yet and don't think there's much anyone could say bad about it. Got it with a coupon for $99.00. I was not surprised to read on a welding forum that some pro's carry one or two of these around in their work trucks for gate repair, etc.

Can't beat the size or the price. It has a bit of a hard time starting on larger material, but when you get it going it works well. Size and weight are the big advantages of this product in my opinion.

A decent little welder for home use. No problem running 1/16" and 3/32" 6011,6013,7018 and 3/23" 308-16. Use it on a 20 amp circuit if possible. Combined with the 49 dollar auto darkening welding hood it makes a great little apartment dweller welding rig. Very small and light.
