I just wanted to add something. I realized the other day why there is no magnet to hold the bits. Don't know if this is intentional or accidental, but there seems to be a reason. When I try to get small (tiny) screws into the hole using a magnetic bit, the screws want to wobble off to the side to the closest metal they can find. Since there is no metal in the hole I'm trying to get the screw into, this can make a simple task very difficult. I'm seeing the lack of a magnet as a positive thing when dealing with small fasteners. And as I said in a previous review, anything sticky will take care of the issue.

Really nothing new to add to the previous reviewers comments. The bits seem to be very good quality. I've used this frequently and have not had any problems with the bits rounding over or not fitting the screw (once I figured out the right size). My purchasing this came from the need for a tiny torx bit which was included in the kit. Don't remember what I was taking apart, but it worked and this is now my "go to" kit for small down to tiny screws. The bits do fall out of the holder, really irritating, that's what keeps my rating from being a 5. A touch of chapstick or something similar will provide enough stickiness to keep the bit in, but you shouldn't need to do that. I've bought a couple for gifts and they have been gratefully received and used.

Bought this to disassemble trashed hard drives to recover the magnets. The bits all work, though as @zzyzzx says, the holder isn't superb for keeping the bits in place. It should have a magnet but doesn't. It does however telescope, which is kind of interesting. The bendy extension should be useful in certain situations but I haven't found a need for it yet.
I've actually used the bits in a drill/driver more often than the supplied holder. They hold up so long as I'm careful with them.

Works fine, but the holder does not hold the bits on place. It needs a magnet or the bit falls out. I picked this one over 97517 because this one is made in Taiwan and 97517 is made in China.
