bits were too brittle and poorly ground. Flutes would not carry away chips and the cutting edges chipped off whenever in the vacinity of anything that looks metalic. As another reviewer mentioned, I got a 'Made in USA' set from Enco and have been very happy with those.

I found these to be too brittle. After breaking off several in really bad places I bought a good set of made in USA bits and haven't regretted doing that. They work, but ultimately caused more trouble and problems than they were worth.

They work. I have two problems: 1. The labeling was wrong on some of the drills, 2. The labeling comes off. Otherwise, like with all HF drills, go slowly into harder stuff (like stainless steel), lubricate. I wouldn't buy them if I didn't know how to sharpen them, or had a Drill Doctor.

great way to get a full set of all the nonstandard sizes. I use my "good" bits on the hard stuff, then follow up with a letter or number drill out of this set as needed.
