I have no problems with mine. Well, it does dent the surface a bit. @djlazar explains this well and for the price, I'm not complaining. If I did finishing work for a living, I don't think I'd be using this. As an avid DIYer, I will pay $20 and put up with some imperfections so long as it works.

I got this for $10 and it works. What more can you say? And as far as it marking up the surface you're nailing, all nailer/stapler combos do that. It uses the same driver to drive the nails as it does the 1/4 inch staples, so when you shoot in a nail, the hammer thing sticks out and hits the surface you're nailing.

I bought one of these little nailers several years ago for $18.00, have only rarely lubed it and have used it a bunch. It has never jammed or otherwise misfired. My only complaint with it is that the driver marks the surface you are nailing. I don't know if the big dollar 18 guage nailers do that or not. Even with that objection, this thing is a bargain.

I have heard terrible reviews on this one and there is even a website where a professional woodworker reviewd it and said he had lots of trouble. I must have just gotten lucky becuase I have put up crown molding and have used it for other projects and it has never once jammed. I lube it often and don't have problems. However I do not buy Harbor Freight nails, I only buy name brand, maybee that helps a little? I bought it for 30.00 but then it went on "Super Sale" for like 15.00-20.00! This nailer is great for your DIY projects, I keep it at 90 PSI and it works great. A nice comfortable gun. I also like the window counter to tell you how many nails you have left. All around great gun. As a DYI'er why pay 200.00 for one of theses!
