It is a nice ratchet, I bought the 1/2" version first and liked it so well I sprung for this one. I would much rather have a dedicated 3/8" extendable handle than the dual head this has. If it was dedicated it would be able to have the push button lock like the 1/2". It really is too large to be a practical 1/4" wrench and that little square knob sticking up spends more time being in the way than useful. The extendable handle is a great idea and I see no flaws in the way it was executed. They just went a little too far to make it more useful.

This rachet is made in taiwan, as are many so-called 'American' tools such as Craftsman, Crescent, Stanley etc. It's every bit as good as any rachet I have purchased in the last 20 years, if not more so.
The extendable locking collar system is bulletproof and gives you adaptable leverage. This is a great feature! It doesn't flex or bend even when extended out to the max.
The racheting mechanism is tight and has enough teeth to make it lock up tight.
The dual-size drive is very nice because you can have two different size sockets on at once.
The only thing that could use a little work is the handle. It's bulky and retains alot of staining once it's greasy. A knurled metal handle would be better. But it's not enough to knock much off the rating.
This is one of my favorite all time purchases at Harbor Freight.
