I love purpose designed tools. If you need to pull up T-posts, get one of these. These is no better way to do it manually. My only caveat is that you have to make sure you position the foot of the tool on a stable surface or it may slip out and generally result in four letter words and possibly blood.

Does the job ok as long as your t-post is in soft sand. The top handle is made of very thin, wimpy metal though, and broke right at the fulcrum point on the first t-post I tried to pull out of hard dirt. However, I welded a piece of rebar to the top of the handle to reinforce it, and now it works quite well.

What a back saver!!! I've never seen these anywhere else and they work well. For the sale price I got mine at I couldn't have copied the idea and made one. I can see nothing to improve on either.

These are simple to use and they work great. We remove the fencing each year, from the two ends of our garden, to be able to use the tractor for ground prep. In the past, I used the lift boom of the tractor to remove T-posts. Using the T-post lifter is actually faster than having to reposition the tractor for each one, and only takes one person. I highly recommend these.

Works quite well even in rocky ground.
