This is one of the very few tools I own from HF that I'd give a mediocre rating to. I wouldn't say "Don't buy this" because for very occasional use it is still an okay value. Since it comes with the tool and several sizes of rivets it is okay if you just need to pop a rivet or two as a quick repair for something. If you plan to be installing a lot of rivets or riveting often I suggest looking for a nicer unit as this one sometimes jams and you have to completely disassemble the riveting head to get it un-jammed. I have never needed the swivel function but I can see how it could be a benefit in tight spaces. I gave it a 3/5 because it is acceptable for occasional use and it is what it is- a cheap tool.

Bought this to rivet my HF Parts washer lid support. Works well. I have not used the swivel function, but I have not needed it yet. It sets the rivets well, and the snapped off shank falls free with ease. For $8.00 or so, you cant complain.

I also got this on sale, for $6. I bought it for the swivel head, thinking it would be useful for automotive work. Well, it is useful, but not as much as I thought it would be. The nose is pretty thick, so it won't fit into those really tight spots where you need to set a rivet. If the nose was thinner and a bit longer, it would be a five. It is useful, though, so if you find it on sale, pick one up.
