Does it's job and does it well. Don't know if it's normal for this style of lift, but the foot release lowers slowly when you push it all the way down and quickly when you push partially down, which means you have to go through fast drop to lower slowly. Other than that it's great. Very stable, lift points don't scratch, has a latching mechanism so the weight is only held up by the jack, just be sure of your ratchet tie downs that hold the bike on(not included).
